CHAPTER 3 – THE WOMAN WHO KNEW EVERYTHING

Ethan thought losing his job was the end.
But it was only the beginning.
Three weeks after Daniel took over the company, Ethan's wife, Olivia, found a locked drawer inside his home office.
Inside were contracts, fake signatures, and one hidden phone.
When she turned it on, her hands went cold.
There were messages from board members.
Payments to silence witnesses.
And one video Ethan had forgotten to delete.
It showed the night Daniel's original invention was stolen.
But the most shocking part was not Ethan taking the files.
It was Olivia standing behind him.
Five years ago, she had helped Ethan destroy Daniel.
And Daniel knew.
That evening, Olivia received a black envelope.
Inside was one sentence:
"Tomorrow, tell the truth... or I will."
The next morning, the entire company gathered for Daniel's first leadership meeting.
Ethan arrived unexpectedly, hoping to beg for one last chance.
Then the doors opened.
Olivia walked in, trembling.
Ethan froze.
Daniel looked at her calmly.
"Are you ready?"
Olivia stepped to the microphone.
And in front of everyone, she confessed.
Ethan had stolen Daniel's work.
She had helped cover it up.
But then came the twist no one expected.
Olivia looked at Daniel and said:
"I didn't help Ethan because I loved him."
"I helped him because he threatened to destroy my father."
The room gasped.
Daniel's face changed.
For the first time, he wasn't in control.
Because Olivia's father...
was the man who had secretly funded Daniel when he had nothing.
The revenge had uncovered a betrayal far darker than anyone imagined.
And Ethan smiled.
May you like
Because he still had one last secret.
One that could destroy Daniel completely.
