Tessa, the head nurse, was leaning over me. She had been suspicious of the "orders" Judith had been giving. "Rebecca? Can you hear me?"
I squeezed her hand.
"Don't speak," she whispered. "Grant and Judith think you're still under. We have to get you out before they start the 'extraction'."
