Chapter 10 - THE FINAL SURPRISEOne year later.

We were in a small coastal town in Maine. No glass towers, no stock prices. Just a small bookstore I owned and a house overlooking the water.
Alexander was sitting on the porch, reading a book. He had no empire, no billion-dollar company. He had us.
"Are you happy?" I asked, bringing him a cup of coffee.

I realized then that the wrong number hadn't been a mistake. It had been the only right thing that ever happened to either of us.
