Chapter 5 - The Corporate VultureNoah didn't get to answer. The store door swung open again, and this time it was two men in expensive suits.
"Noah Parker," one of them said, flashing a badge. "We represent the board of TechVision. You’ve breached your contract by missing the final signing of the acquisition deal. You’re being suspended immediately pending an investigation into your erratic behavior and company resource misuse."
Noah didn't even turn around. He was focused on Grace. "Grace, I don't care about the company. I’ll walk away from it all."

"You already did, Noah," one of the executives sneered. "And with your stock prices plummeting because of your absence, you have nothing left to give her anyway."
Noah finally looked at them, his eyes cold and calm. "You think my value is tied to a stock price? You’re about to find out exactly what I’m worth."
