Emma thought the nightmare was finally over.
She had exposed the lies.

A small package arrived at her office with no return address.
Inside was a newborn hospital bracelet.
One tiny pink sock.
And a handwritten note.
"The truth isn't finished. Ask for another DNA test."
Emma's heart pounded.
She immediately called the lawyer.
Within hours, they reopened every sealed document from the hospital where she had supposedly been switched at birth.

One nurse's name appeared on every single page.
She had disappeared twenty-five years ago.
The lawyer hired private investigators.
After weeks of searching, they finally found the elderly nurse living quietly in a remote coastal town.
When Emma showed her the hospital bracelet, the woman's face turned white.
"I've prayed this day would never come."
Emma held back tears.

The old nurse collapsed into her chair.
"There was never one baby switch..."

Emma froze.
"What?"
The nurse nodded through tears.

"It was your grandmother."
The room fell silent.

"So when your mother gave birth to a girl..."
"...they secretly replaced you with another baby."
Emma's entire world shattered.
"So... who am I?"
The nurse looked directly into her eyes.
"You are the biological granddaughter of the billionaire."

"...they were never part of the plan."
Emma could barely breathe.
"Then... where is the other baby?"
The nurse slowly opened an old photo album.
Inside was a faded picture of two newborn girls.

Emma's hands began to shake violently.

The nurse nodded.
"Isabella wasn't your sister."
"She was your cousin."

Emma stared at the photograph in complete disbelief.
