It wasn't Lorenzo.
Marco Bruno’s gun smoked in his hand. The bullet caught Vincent squarely in the right shoulder, spinning him around and sending the revolver clattering across the polished hardwood floor.
Vincent screamed, collapsing against the glass window, clutching his bleeding shoulder as blood poured rapidly between his fingers.
Marco calmly holstered his weapon, stepping forward to kick Vincent’s gun away.
“Never point a piece in this room unless you’re ready to use it, Vincent,” Marco said coldly. “And you clearly weren't.”
Lorenzo didn't even flinch when the shot went off. He walked slowly up to the bleeding, writhing traitor, looking down at him with an expression of supreme, chilling detachment.

Two capos grabbed Vincent by his arms, dragging him screaming and kicking out of the office, leaving a dark streak of blood across the pristine floorboards.
