Chapter 9 - The Legacy RebuiltSix months later, the transformation of Vale Holdings was complete.

The old guard—the corrupt executives, the sycophants, and the shadow operators loyal to Vincent—had been purged entirely. In their place stood a new generation of brilliant, ethical minds dedicated to innovation, transparency, and ruthless corporate integrity.

Elena smiled, her eyes sparkling in the morning light. "You've really changed, Luca Vale. The most feared billionaire in Chicago is turning into a philanthropist."

"Your reputation can handle it."
She leaned up, and as our lips met, every lingering shadow from the past decade dissolved completely into the morning air. The curse was a myth. The loneliness was history. And for the first time in my life, the future was entirely unwritten.
