Chapter 6 - THE CONFESSION OF A FRAUDGrant stumbled backward, gripping the edge of the conference table for support. Beads of cold sweat broke out across his forehead.

"That's a lie! Elias wrote those! He built the lattice!" Grant shrieked, his polished corporate facade completely shattering into hysterical panic.

"Elias did build the lattice," I said, my voice cutting through his screams like a razor blade. "He built it, tested it, and patented the working model under a secure secondary trust two years ago—a trust where I am the sole trustee, and Elias was the verified inventor."

I pulled out a final, stamped legal document bearing the seal of the federal patent office.

"You didn't steal a working patent, Grant," I whispered coldly. "You stole a decoy file containing intentionally flawed preliminary algorithms designed specifically to flag unauthorized corporate theft."

The Aethel Corp representative stood up, snapping his briefcase shut with a sharp click. "This is industrial fraud. Our legal team will be pulling out of this acquisition immediately, and we are notifying federal authorities regarding patent falsification."
