Chapter 7 - The Digital Execution“You heard me, cousin,” Adrian said smoothly, leaning back in his chair. He clicked a small remote control in his hand.

Instantly, the wall-mounted art piece at the end of the dining room retracted, revealing a massive, ultra-high-definition smart screen.
Glowing brightly across the display was a detailed, color-coded forensic audit trail, complete with corporate routing numbers, Delaware LLC registration certificates, and signed vendor kickback agreements bearing Blake Sterling’s signature.
Gasps echoed around the table. Several society women dropped their silverware.
Serena turned completely white, her hands trembling as she stared at the screen. “This—this is a forgery! You can’t just accuse—”
“Quiet, Serena,” Adrian commanded, his voice cracking like a whip across the silent room. He clicked the remote again.
An audio file began playing over the mansion’s surround-sound system.
“...just make sure the bogus catering invoices clear before the board audit on Monday,” Blake’s voice echoed clearly through the dining hall. “Once Serena marries Adrian, we’ll control the entire procurement pipeline. He’ll never suspect a thing...”
The entire dining room stared in stunned, frozen horror.
Blake leapt to his feet, knocking his chair backward. “This is a setup! Someone hacked my accounts! It’s a lie!”
“It’s not a lie, Blake,” a calm, clear voice spoke from the end of the room.
Every head snapped around.
Maya stepped forward from the shadows of the doorway, walking slowly into the center of the brilliant chandelier light. She wasn't holding her silver tray anymore. Her posture was straight, her chin held high, radiating an aura of absolute, unshakeable authority.
Blake sneered, his face contorting with rage as he pointed a shaking finger at her. “You?! You treacherous little housemaid! You planted this! You’re just a servant!”

Maya stopped three feet away from him, a cold, brilliant smile touching her lips.
“A servant, Blake?” Maya replied, her voice ringing crystal clear across the hall. “No. I’m the forensic accountant who just audited your entire criminal enterprise.”
