Chapter 10 - THE CROWN REMAINSBack at the Moretti Estate, night had fallen, blanketing the countryside in a blanket of glittering stars.

Inside the grand library, Grace sat at her mahogany desk, signing the final documents for the newly established Jennings-Moretti Foundation—a multi-million-dollar fund dedicated to empowering women and protecting mothers in need.
The heavy oak doors opened softly. Emma, Sophie, and Chloe tiptoed in wearing matching silk pajamas, their eyes heavy with sleep.
"Mama, can you read us a story?" little Chloe whispered, climbing up onto Grace's lap and resting her head against her chest.
Grace smiled, wrapping her arms around all three of her precious daughters as they gathered close around her chair.
"Once upon a time," Grace began, her voice rich with warmth, strength, and victory, "there were three little princesses and a mother who walked out into the storm... and built an empire."
Emma smiled, looking up at her mother with fierce, admiring eyes. "And did they live happily ever after, Mama?"

Grace kissed each of their foreheads, looking past them toward the open balcony where Dante stood silhouetted against the moonlight, raising his glass to her in silent salute.
"No, my darlings," Grace whispered, a powerful, radiant smile gracing her lips. "They didn't just live happily ever after... they ruled the world."
