Chapter 7 - REVENGE OF THE SAVANNAHDeep inside the dark stone shelter, Emily’s sadness transformed into an icy, unstoppable rage. Her whole career, her love for the animals, her trust—it had all been a lie constructed by a monster in a expensive suit.

She looked at Sultan. The big lion was staring through the gap too. He could smell the scent of the men outside. He could sense Emily's outrage.

"Sultan," Emily whispered, her voice cold as ice. "It's time to end this."

Working together, Emily and the lion pride began pushing against a pile of loose shale blocking a low crevice at the base of the overhang. With Sultan’s immense power and the pride working in unison, they cleared a narrow passage leading out to the rear side of the plateau.

Outside, Arthur Vance was preparing to board the helicopter.

"Make sure the fire sweeps through the administrative building," Arthur told Victor, adjusting his tie. "Delete all server backups."

"Consider it done, Director," Victor smirked, tossing his briefcase onto the helicopter seat.

Suddenly, a voice echoed from the rocky ridge above them.

"You forgot one detail, Director Vance!"

Arthur and Victor whipped around in shock.

Standing high on the rocky cliff above the plateau, silhouetted against the roaring red fire and blue sky, was Emily. She was covered in ash and blood, holding up her phone—which was actively broadcasting a live stream directly to the International Wildlife Conservation Bureau and global news networks.

"Emily?!" Arthur gasped, his face draining of all color. "You... you were supposed to be dead!"

"I recorded every word you just said, Arthur," Emily said, her voice carrying across the wind. "The world is watching you right now. Your global network is finished."

Victor snarled, pulling a hidden sidearm from his shoulder holster. "I'll kill you myself!"

"I don't think so," Emily said quietly.

She raised her hand and pointed down at the plateau.

"Sultan... take them."
