Chapter 7 - THE SHIPYARD AMBUSHRain poured in heavy torrents over the dark, rusty shipping containers of the Staten Island Naval Yard.

Four black armored Cadillacs smashed through the rusty chain-link gates of Warehouse 9, their high beams illuminating the vast, cavernous interior!
BOOM!
Gunfire erupted instantly!
Mercenaries positioned on the iron catwalks above opened fire with automatic rifles, bullets raining down onto the armored vehicles like heavy hail!
Alexander slammed his car door open, using the reinforced bulletproof steel as cover as he fired his heavy weapon upward with terrifying precision!
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Three mercenaries tumbled off the high catwalks, crashing thirty feet down onto the concrete floor!
Beside him, Hannah stayed low, ducking behind a iron shipping crate. She spotted a mercenary creeping up behind Arthur with a silenced shotgun.
Hannah raised her silver pistol, took a deep breath, and pulled the trigger.
BANG!
The mercenary collapsed backward, his shotgun clattering harmlessly against the stone floor.
Arthur turned around, shocked, then gave Hannah a crisp, respectful nod. "Excellent shot, Donnessa!"
"Clear the perimeter!" Alexander barked through his radio, moving like a shadow through the thick smoke and dust.
At the far end of the warehouse, inside an elevated glass office overlooking the floor, a light was burning.

Through the rain-streaked glass, Hannah saw two figures standing inside: Eleanor Vane—a cold, sharp-featured woman in a fur coat—and Trevor Langley, who was trembling violently while holding a bloody bandage to his shoulder.
"Alexander!" Hannah yelled, pointing up toward the office. "They're inside!"
