Chapter 8 - THE ZURICH CONFRONTATIONTwo weeks later, Ethan and Claire arrived in Zurich, Switzerland. The final piece of the puzzle lay inside the private vaults of Bank Von Berg, the most secure financial institution in Europe.

Walking through the polished brass doors, Ethan and Claire were greeted by the bank's chairman himself. The rumors of Marcus's failure had sent shockwaves through the financial underworld; no one dared cross the Ghost King now.
"Mr. and Mrs. Cole," the chairman bowed deeply. "Your late father’s vault has remained untouched for twenty-five years. Only the sole beneficiary of the irrevocable trust—Mrs. Claire Cole—possesses the biometric clearance to open it."
Claire stepped forward, placing her palm onto the scanner of the massive titanium vault door. The machinery whirred to life, gears turning with heavy, metallic thuds before the door swung open.
Inside, stacked high on velvet shelves, were not just gold bars or bearer bonds. There were thick leather journals, encrypted hard drives, and private letters written by Ethan's father, Arthur Cole.
Claire picked up a sealed envelope addressed directly to her name. She opened it and read the words aloud, her voice trembling slightly:
"To my dear daughter, Claire. If you are reading this, it means my son Ethan found the strength to love someone worthy of his true burden. I knew my wife Evelyn and daughter Natalie were consumed by dark ambition. I created this trust not to hoard wealth, but to protect you and Ethan. Within these drives are the master keys to dismantle every illegal financial network on earth. Use them to bring light to the world Ethan had to protect from the shadows."

Tears welled in Claire's eyes as she looked at Ethan. "Your father knew, Ethan. He knew everything."
"He knew you would be the one to save me, Claire," Ethan murmured, pulling her into his arms.
