Chapter 10 - The Wilder LegacyFive years later.

The Wilder Institute was the largest pediatric hospital in the world.

Theo stood on the podium, addressing thousands of families. Beside him, eleven-year-old Ava, now walking with the help of advanced, cutting-edge exoskeletal braces—the result of his five-year investment—stood tall.

"People ask me why I gave up a billionaire’s life to be a father," Theo said, looking into the crowd. "I tell them the truth: I didn't give anything up. I finally bought my way into the only thing that matters."

Ava took the microphone.

"He's still a nerd," she joked, and the crowd roared with laughter. "But he's my nerd."

Theo leaned down and kissed her forehead.

The cameras flashed, the world watched, and for the first time in his life, Theo Wilder didn't look at his watch.
