CHAPTER 4: The Traitor Took Off His Mask... And Every Biker Wanted Him Dead

The mountain echoed with the roar of hundreds of engines.
Black armored SUVs stormed up the winding road like a pack of wolves.
Five hundred bikers formed a human shield around Emma.
No one spoke.
They already knew...
If they failed today, the truth would die forever.
Jack stood at the front, his rifle resting calmly against his shoulder.
He wasn't afraid.
He had been running for twenty years.
Today...
He was done running.
The lead SUV rolled to a stop only fifty feet away.
Its engine shut off.
Silence swept across the mountain.
The driver's door slowly opened.
A polished black boot touched the ground.
Then another.
An older man stepped into the sunlight wearing an immaculate black suit.
Pinned to his chest...
A silver eagle.
Jack's face turned cold.
"Miller..."
The old biker Mason gasped.
"No..."
"It can't be Colonel Miller."
The bikers stared in disbelief.
Colonel Richard Miller had been celebrated as a national hero.
He had received medals.
Given speeches.
Appeared on television every Memorial Day honoring fallen soldiers.
The entire country believed he had spent twenty years protecting the families of those who never came home.
It was all a lie.
Miller smiled as if he were greeting old friends.
"You should have stayed dead, Jack."
Jack laughed bitterly.
"You buried the wrong man."
Miller shrugged.
"No."
"I buried the only witness I couldn't control."
The reporters filming from a safe distance caught every word.
Live broadcasts exploded across the country.
Millions watched in stunned silence.
Emma looked at Miller.
"Did you hurt my mommy?"
For the first time...
Miller's smile disappeared.
Instead of answering...
He slowly removed a gold pocket watch from his coat.
Emma froze.
She recognized it instantly.
"My mom had that..."
Jack's hands tightened around his rifle.
"Where did you get it?"
Miller looked almost amused.
"Sarah gave it to me."
Jack shook his head.
"You're lying."
Miller's eyes narrowed.
"No."
"She begged me to protect her daughter."
The words struck Jack like a bullet.
Emma looked back and forth between them, confused.
"Daddy..."
"What is he talking about?"
Jack couldn't answer.
Because deep inside...
A terrifying possibility had begun to grow.
What if Sarah hadn't been kidnapped?
What if...
She had made a choice?
Before anyone could speak again...
One of Miller's men walked forward carrying a metal case.
He opened it.
Inside were dozens of classified military files.
Old photographs.
Secret operation reports.
Bank records.
Death certificates.
Every document proving that the government's official story had been fabricated.
Miller calmly lit a match.
"If I burn these..."
"The truth dies forever."
The bikers started moving forward.
Jack raised his hand.
"Don't."
Miller smiled again.
"Smart."
"But you're forgetting one thing."
He pointed toward the sky.
Everyone looked up.
A military helicopter appeared over the mountain.
Then another.
Then three more.
Snipers leaned out of the open doors.
Laser sights covered every biker on the ground.
Mason whispered,
"We're trapped..."
Jack slowly lowered his rifle.
Miller stepped closer until they stood only a few feet apart.
"You've lost, old friend."
Jack stared into his eyes...
Then smiled.
"No."
"You just made the biggest mistake of your life."
Miller frowned.
"What mistake?"
Jack looked past him.
"You assumed I came here alone."
At that exact second...
The sound of dozens of motorcycles thundered from the opposite side of the mountain.
Not five hundred...
Thousands.
Headlights stretched across the ridgeline like an endless river of fire.
Bikers from every state had answered one message.
"If Jack is alive... ride."
More than ten thousand motorcycles surrounded the mountain in every direction.
Miller's confident smile vanished.
For the first time in twenty years...
The hunter had become the hunted.
And hidden among the arriving riders...
Someone wearing Sarah's old leather jacket slowly removed a helmet.
Jack looked up.
His entire body froze.
His lips trembled.
"No..."
"It can't be..."
The woman smiled through tears.
"Miss me?"
Jack dropped to his knees.
Because the woman everyone had buried beside an empty coffin...
May you like
Sarah... was standing right in front of him.
