Chapter 6 - THE RIFT OPENS"Lies!" Marcus shrieked, lunging forward toward the table, his face twisted in panic. "She’s a maid! She’s a criminal! They planted forged documents! Look at them—they’re trying to extort us!"

Ethan remained seated, but his voice cut through Marcus’s hysteria like a scalpel. "Marcus. Stop."

Marcus froze, turning to look at his brother. "Ethan, tell them! Tell them it's a lie!"

Ethan slowly stood up, smoothing the front of his custom suit. He didn't look at Marcus. He looked at Victor. For the first time, the quiet, obedient middle son let his mask slip, revealing an abyss of cold, calculated ambition.

"It’s not a lie, Father," Ethan said softly.

Victor Han staggered back slightly, gripping the edge of the mahogany table. His knuckles turned white. He looked from Marcus to Ethan, the horrible, sickening realization dawning in his eyes like a rising tide of acid.

"You..." Victor breathed, his voice trembling. "You sold the shipping lanes? You sold the real estate in Seoul?"

"You were too old, Father," Ethan said without a shred of remorse. "You were holding onto a dying model. The world has moved on. Marcus needed his debts paid, and I needed capital to launch the new tech acquisitions. We simply... repurposed your assets."

"Repurposed?" Victor roared, a sound like a wounded lion, and lunged across the table toward Ethan.

Before Victor could reach him, the federal marshals stepped in, placing themselves firmly between the chairman and his sons.

"Hold your position, Mr. Han," one of the marshals commanded, flashing a federal warrant. "Ethan Han, Marcus Han, you are both under federal arrest for corporate wire fraud, identity theft, and interstate asset misappropriation."

Chaos erupted. Flashbulbs—or rather, the digital equivalent of breaking news alerts—were already pinging on every board member's phone as Aunt Martha’s legal team simultaneously transmitted the public disclosures to every major financial news outlet in New York.
