By morning, Ryan Walker's name was everywhere.
The man who had laughed while forcing a desperate woman to kneel was now the most hated executive in America.
But Ryan was not ashamed.
He was angry.

They plot.
Three days after Emily became CEO of Sterling Capital's new project, an anonymous email arrived in her inbox.
Resign by midnight… or your mother dies.
Emily froze.
Attached was a photo of her mother's hospital room.
Someone had been inside.
Someone close.
Victoria immediately doubled security, but Emily already knew who was behind it.
Ryan.
That night, Emily went to the hospital alone.
Her mother was sleeping peacefully.
But on the chair beside the bed was a black envelope.
Inside was a key card.
And one sentence written in red ink:
You took my future. Now I'll take your family.
Emily's hands shook.
Then the hospital lights suddenly went out.
A scream echoed from the hallway.
Emily turned toward the door...
