Chapter 4 - Public Execution"Good evening, gentlemen," my voice echoed through the high-end acoustics of the Manhattan boardroom, broadcast live via the encrypted override I had just forced through the home network.

Victor Sloane leaped to his feet, his chair screeching loudly against the polished hardwood floor. His face drained of all color, the mask of cool corporate composure shattering instantly. "Cut that feed!" he roared at the IT technician stationed by the media console. "Turn it off right now!"

"Don't touch a damn button," Sarah Chen shouted, standing up and glaring at Sloane. "Let the man speak."

On the screen, I stepped closer to the camera, my eyes locked directly onto the lens that I knew fed straight into Sloane's private terminal.

"You’ve all been waiting for me to sign away my life’s work tonight," I said, my voice steady, cold, and amplified across the boardroom speakers. "You were told I was irresponsible, absent, and erratic. You were told my family was falling apart due to my negligence."

I reached down and picked up the folder labeled ADRIAN COLE: FINAL REMOVAL PLAN, holding it up to the camera so every investor could see the corporate letterhead emblazoned with Sloane’s signature at the bottom.

"What you weren't told," I continued, "is that my company’s chairman orchestrated a domestic abduction plot, using psychological torture against my eight-year-old daughter and twelve-year-old son to fabricate legal incompetence, strip me of my custody rights, and steal my voting shares through a fraudulent guardianship proxy."

An absolute uproar erupted in the Manhattan boardroom. Investors shouted over one another, papers flew, and three board members immediately moved toward the exit.

Sloane stood frozen, his hands gripping the edge of the mahogany table so tightly his knuckles turned white. He looked around the room, realizing in a single agonizing second that his multi-million-dollar conspiracy had just been broadcast to his entire financial backing.

"It's a lie!" Sloane screamed, his voice cracking with panic. "He’s having a psychotic break! The man is unstable!"

"Is it a lie, Victor?" I asked softly from the screen. "Because my legal counsel, Marcus Vance, has already transmitted copies of the offshore routing numbers and the signed removal agreements to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the District Attorney's office. Federal marshals are probably walking into your penthouse right now."

As if on cue, heavy footsteps echoed through the hallway outside the boardroom, followed by the firm, unmistakable command: "Federal Bureau of Investigation! Nobody move!"
