Chapter 6 - The Sovereign's True Face

Hook: The ultimate twist—she didn't just punish her enemies; she put them in the exact trap they built for her.

One month later.

The Grand Imperial Hotel had been completely rebuilt, its glass entrance now reinforced with military-grade ballistic material. A new charity gala was being held, filled with the exact same elite crowd that had watched a girl get kicked out of her wheelchair weeks prior.

The atmosphere was tense. No one dared to speak loudly. No one dared to show arrogance. The lesson of the House of Sterling had been burned into the mind of every billionaire in the city.

The grand doors opened, and a murmur spread through the crowd.

A wheelchair was being pushed into the lobby by Marcus Vance.

The guests instantly parted, bowing their heads in deep respect. Sitting in the wheelchair was a figure wrapped in a coarse, dirty gray blanket, their head lowered, their face hidden.

Many assumed it was the Sovereign, choosing to humble them again with her presence.

But as the wheelchair stopped beneath the massive crystal chandelier, Marcus reached down and pulled the blanket away.

The crowd gasped in absolute horror.

It wasn't Seraphina.

It was Giddeon Permone. His tongue had been surgically removed, his hands wrapped in heavy bandages where his fingers used to be, his legs completely paralyzed by a precise neurotoxin injection. He could only look up at the crowd with wild, terrified eyes, completely mute, a living prisoner of his own greed.

And standing right beside his chair, looking stunning in a flawless, blood-red evening gown, was Seraphina Permone.

She looked down at her brother, then turned her gaze to the wealthy guests who were trembling in fear.

"Let this be a reminder to everyone in this room," Seraphina’s voice echoed beautifully throughout the grand lobby. "Kindness is not weakness. And cruelty... cruelty has an interest rate that none of you can afford to pay."

Suddenly, the hotel’s main projection screen flickered to life, showing a live feed of the city’s dirtiest, most dangerous slum district.

Two figures were visible on the screen, dressed in tattered rags, fighting over a piece of discarded bread near a trash fire. The camera zoomed in on their faces.

It was Victoria and Richard Sterling.

The very woman who had kicked a girl out of a wheelchair was now begging for scraps on the street, entirely ignored by a world that had once worshipped her wealth.

Seraphina smiled, turning her violet eyes toward the camera, speaking directly to the millions of people watching the live broadcast that had just hijacked every television and phone screen in the country.

"The world thinks the powerful rule the weak," Seraphina concluded, her voice cold and absolute. "But from this day forward... I rule the powerful."

The screen went black, leaving the entire elite society of the world in a state of permanent, trembling submission. The Sovereign had risen, and the game was officially over.

Watch the full sequence of events unfold. True power doesn't need a crown; it just needs a reason. Drop a '👑' if you think she handled them perfectly!
