The Moretti Corporation was stronger than ever. I had restructured the board, purged the last of Emily’s lingering loyalists, and redirected our philanthropic efforts toward establishing the Nicole Vance Memorial Foundation—a leading research center dedicated to women's health, reproductive rights, and the absolute eradication of pharmaceutical tampering.

I stood on the private balcony of my newly renovated country estate in Lake Geneva, the cool morning breeze carrying the scent of pine and fresh lake water.

A soft pair of arms wrapped around my waist from behind.

I turned my head, smiling softly as I looked down at Sarah—a brilliant pediatric surgeon who had joined the board of the foundation six months ago, and who had brought light back into my world in ways I never thought possible.

"Penny for your thoughts, Mr. Moretti," she murmured, resting her chin against my shoulder.

I looked out over the sparkling expanse of the lake, watching the golden morning light dance across the water.
