Chapter 4 - The Ghost of the PastEthan tilted his head, watching the billionaire’s sudden transformation. “Mister? Do you know Mrs. Miller?”

Robert snapped out of his trance, his gray eyes locking onto Ethan with frantic intensity.

“Mrs. Miller? Is that what you call her? Where is she?!” Robert demanded, his voice echoing off the vaulted ceilings.

Emma shrank back into her blanket, frightened by his sudden intensity. “She... she used to run the little art room at the orphanage. She carved that angel for Ethan on his first birthday there. But six months ago... she got very sick. She couldn't walk anymore, and the director said she had to go away to a hospital far, far away.”

Robert gripped the edges of the table, his knuckles turning white.
