He looked at me, his eyes devoid of any sanity. "You’ve ruined the experiment, Doctor. Do you have any idea how much money and time went into erasing her identity?"

"You're not a scientist," I said, stepping toward him with the trauma shears still in my hand. "You’re a monster."
