By Friday, the story of the "Vanguard Fraud" had begun to leak into the local business circles. Mark had spent years building a reputation as a self-made real estate mogul, a pillar of the community, and a devoted husband.

I decided it was time to tear down that pillar, brick by brick.

With the help of my niece, a social media manager with over 200,000 followers, we set up a live stream on Facebook and TikTok. The title of the stream was simple but lethal: "RECLAIMING MY LIFE: Seizing my cheating husband's $500,000 yacht bought with my stolen inheritance."

We set up the cameras at the Miami marina where the yacht, named The Golden Dream, was docked.

The sun was bright, the water was sparkling blue, and the marina was packed with wealthy onlookers as two heavy-duty tow boats and a team of federal marshals arrived to seize the vessel.
