Chapter 8 - THE FILES REVEALEDJulian tapped his own tablet on the desk. Instantly, the massive projector screen behind Richard flickered, replacing the financial charts with a series of bank statements, encrypted email chains, and audio transcripts.

Richard’s confident smirk vanished instantly, replaced by a mask of sheer terror.
“What... what is this?” Richard stammered, staring at the screen displaying his personal offshore accounts.
“These,” Julian said coldly, standing up to his full height, “are records of your systematic embezzlement from the company’s overseas subsidiaries over the last three years. Totaling over fourteen million dollars. Funneled directly into shell companies—ironically, registered under the very same corrupt offshore firms that once funded Director Henderson’s slush fund at St. Jude’s.”
Gasps echoed around the boardroom. Executives who had nodded along with Richard a moment ago scrambled backward in their chairs, distancing themselves from him like he carried a plague.
“You... you hacked my private accounts?” Richard choked out, his face turning pale.
“I didn't hack anything, Richard. You used corporate Wi-Fi to log into your offshore portal,” Julian said with icy disdain. “My security team flagged it months ago. I was simply waiting to see how deep your treachery went before I cut out the cancer.”

Two federal agents in plainclothes walked quietly through the boardroom doors, their badges flashing under the fluorescent lights.
“Richard Vance,” the lead agent stated, stepping up behind the trembling cousin. “You are under arrest for corporate fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy. Turn around and put your hands behind your back.”
