Chapter 4 - THE CAMPAIGN LAUNCH DISASTERTwo weeks later, Adrian Vale held a massive, televised campaign rally in downtown Richmond.

Thousands of supporters filled the plaza. Cameras from every major news network broadcasted his speech live across the nation. Celeste Monroe stood proudly behind him in a designer white suit, beaming like the future First Lady of the campaign trail.
Adrian stepped up to the podium, adjusting his microphone, looking every bit the statesman.
"Integrity," Adrian told the roaring crowd, "is not just a word we use when the cameras are rolling. It is the bedrock of my character, my family, and my commitment to this state."
Suddenly, the massive jumbo screens behind him flickered.
Instead of his campaign logo, the live broadcast feed cut to a secure audio wave graphic.
The crystal-clear voice of Adrian Vale echoed across the crowded plaza through the high-powered speakers: "Claire, listen to me. A DUI destroys the campaign... You have no record..."

The crowd went dead silent.
Celeste Monroe froze, her smile instantly vanishing as she stared at the screen in utter horror.
