CHAPTER 2 "One Fight Changed Everything... The Strongest Soldier in the Battalion Discovered Why Legends Never Need to Raise Their Voices 😨🔥"

Ryan cracked his neck.

The other soldiers backed away, forming a wide circle around the training mats.

Someone whispered excitedly,

"She's dead."

Another soldier pulled out his phone before quickly hiding it again.

Nobody wanted to miss what they assumed would become the most embarrassing moment in military history.

Ryan spread his arms.

"You wanted respect."

He laughed.

"Come earn it."

Commander Carter slowly stepped onto the mat.

No fighting stance.

No dramatic pose.

Only complete stillness.

That somehow unsettled Ryan.

He rushed first.

A massive right hook.

Fast.

Powerful.

Enough to knock out most men instantly.

But...

It struck nothing.

Commander Carter had moved before the punch even arrived.

Not backward.

Forward.

Inside his reach.

Before Ryan understood what had happened...

She twisted his wrist.

Rotated her hips.

Used his own momentum against him.

BOOM.

The giant crashed flat onto the mat.

The gym fell silent.

Ryan blinked in confusion.

"What..."

He jumped up again.

This time charging with even more force.

Another punch.

Another grab.

Another failed attack.

Within three seconds...

He was airborne.

His enormous body slammed into the floor so hard the room shook.

The laughter disappeared.

Completely.

Ryan's breathing became heavier.

His confidence began to crack.

He attacked again.

Again.

Again.

Each attempt ended the same way.

A throw.

A lock.

A controlled takedown.

Never once did Commander Carter strike him out of anger.

She never insulted him.

Never mocked him.

She simply demonstrated perfect control.

By the sixth takedown...

Ryan could barely stand.

His shoulder throbbed.

His knee trembled.

His pride hurt far worse.

The soldiers stared in disbelief.

One whispered,

"Who... is she?"

Another quietly answered,

"I've never seen anyone move like that."

At that exact moment...

Colonel Harrison returned.

He looked around the silent gym.

Then calmly asked,

"Has anyone bothered reading Commander Carter's service file?"

No one answered.

The Colonel smiled slightly.

"I didn't think so."

He pulled a folder from under his arm.

"You've spent the last fifteen minutes mocking someone who trained Tier One operators."

Silence.

"She has completed more classified rescue missions than this entire battalion combined."

More silence.

"She holds instructor certifications in five military combat systems."

Several soldiers swallowed nervously.

"And before any of you joined the Army..."

"...she was already receiving medals you don't even have clearance to know about."

Ryan stared at her.

His face lost all color.

Everything suddenly made sense.

The calm eyes.

The effortless movements.

The confidence.

She had never been pretending.

She simply had nothing to prove.

Except one thing.

May you like

Respect could never be demanded.

Only earned.
