Chapter 10 - Dawn Over Calder RoweThree months later.

The morning sun rose over the city skyline, casting a warm, golden glow across the glass facade of The Apex. Inside the penthouse suite, the executive conference room was filled with federal investigators, corporate board members, and senior legal auditors.
Adrian Moss and Celeste Rowe sat at the far end of the long mahogany table, their hands cuffed behind their backs, flanked by federal marshals waiting to escort them to the district courthouse to face formal charges of corporate embezzlement, securities fraud, and conspiracy.

Standing beside him by the floor-to-ceiling windows was Willa, looking radiant in a cream silk blouse, holding a sleeping baby wrapped in a soft pink blanket against her chest.
The infant—healthy, strong, and breathing perfectly on her own—stirred slightly in her sleep, letting out a tiny, contented sigh.

Nathan reached out, placing one hand gently on Willa’s shoulder and the other over the tiny, perfect fingers of his daughter. He looked out across the city his parents had built, knowing the foundation was finally secure.
“Welcome home, little one,” Nathan whispered softly, kissing Willa’s forehead as the golden morning light washed over them all.
