Chapter 6 - The Return of the LionAunt Ifeoma dropped her pen. It clattered loudly against the glass table. Her face turned the color of old chalk, her jaw dropping so low it looked dislocated.

“O-Obinna…?” Ifeoma choked out, stumbling backward into her leather chair. “That’s… that’s impossible! You’re… you’re brain-dead!”

“Sorry to disappoint you, Auntie,” Obinna’s deep, resonant voice echoed across the boardroom, carrying the absolute authority of a billionaire CEO who had risen from the grave. “Death had to wait. I had too many accounts to audit.”

The corrupt board members panicked, scrambling to gather their portfolios and sneak toward the exit.

“Don't bother running,” I called out loudly, stepping forward with my tablet in hand. “The building exits are sealed by federal marshals.”

Obinna reached the head of the table, placing his large hands flat on the glass surface, leaning over to stare directly into his aunt’s terrified eyes.

“For three years, you and Dr. Eze turned my clinic room into a prison,” Obinna said, his voice dropping an octave into a lethal whisper. “You thought by drugging me, you could steal my empire. You forgot one crucial detail: bloodlines don't make a family. Loyalty does.”
