Victoria Harrison laughed.
"You think a few old papers can destroy me?"
Victor slowly folded the DNA report and slipped it into his pocket.
"No."
He looked directly into his mother's eyes.
"But what the police are about to hear... will."
The room fell silent.
Victoria's confident smile faded for the first time.
"What are you talking about?"
Victor pulled out his phone.
"I've spent six years trying to understand why Emma disappeared without a word."
"I hired investigators."
"I tracked every payment."
"I recorded every conversation."
He pressed play.
A cold voice echoed through the hospital room.
"If Emma refuses to leave... make it look like an accident."
