Chapter 9 - THE NEW BLUEPRINTThree weeks after the arrests, the sun shone brightly over the pristine marble floors of my Miami mansion. The air smelled of fresh coffee and polished wood.

I stood in the grand foyer, wearing a freshly pressed custom suit, holding a small velvet box in my hand.
The front door chimed softly.
Rosa walked in, wearing her familiar faded blue dress, her gray-streaked hair pinned neatly back, carrying her usual cleaning bucket.
I stepped forward and blocked her path.
Rosa stopped, looking up at me with calm, intelligent eyes. "Mr. Calloway. You're up early."
"I am," I said softly.
I reached out and gently took the cleaning bucket from her hands, setting it down on the console table beside the door. Then I opened the velvet box. Inside rested a single, heavy platinum key—not to the mansion, but to the executive penthouse suite of our newly restructured development firm, Calloway & Vance Partners.
Rosa looked at the key, then up at me, a rare, genuine smile breaking across her face.
"You know, Edward," Rosa said, her voice warm and steady, "for fifteen years, I cleaned up your messes."
"And now," I smiled, holding out the key, "it's time you helped me build something that can never be broken."
May you like
Rosa looked at the key for a long moment, slowly reached out, and took it from my palm.
"Let's get to work," she said.
