"This proves Arthur Vance engaged in extortion, grand theft, and corporate fraud decades ago. The statute of limitations hasn't expired because the fraudulent shell corporations are still active today."

"We can arrest Arthur right now," Chloe said, standing up. "And Victoria’s offshore accounts just got flagged by the IRS."

"Wait," I said, a dark realization hitting me. "If Arthur and Victoria realize the trap is closing, they’ll run. We need to catch them red-handed attempting to flee."

That evening, I leaked a fake report through the construction company’s internal network: All trust funds unlocking for emergency liquidation at midnight.
