Chapter 6 - Bulletproof RealitiesCinematic Prompt & Visual GuidanceVideo Prompt (15-sec cinematic realistic): Interior shot of the Ferrari moving at high speed on a multi-lane highway. Sunlight flashing across the dashboard through bullet-riddled rear glass. Thomas leaning over the center console to steady the steering wheel alongside Elena. Sophie curled up safely on the floor mats in the back. Intense, focused expressions, dramatic lighting.

The bullet hole in the rear window was no larger than a coin, but the spiderweb cracks radiating from it threatened to collapse the entire pane.

"Keep it steady!" Thomas shouted over the screech of wind rushing through the cabin. He reached down, flipping a hidden toggle switch beneath the glove compartment.

A small, amber LED light began to pulse on the dashboard.

"What did you just turn on?" Elena asked, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she wove the supercar through a cluster of semi-trucks, cutting off a terrified commuter in a sedan.

"Defensive countermeasures," Thomas replied coldly. He pressed a silver button marked with a simple geometric crest.

Behind them, the matte-black SUV was less than thirty feet away, its front bumper lining up to pit-maneuver the Ferrari and send it spinning into the concrete median at ninety miles per hour. Just as the driver of the SUV leaned forward for the kill, the rear license plate of Thomas’s Ferrari flipped open with a mechanical click.

Thud-fizz.

A heavy cloud of industrial-grade thick white smoke and non-lethal caltrops erupted across all three lanes of the interstate.

The pursuing SUV hit the cloud at full throttle. The driver lost traction instantly, the heavy vehicle fishtailing violently, spinning three full rotations before slamming hard into a highway guardrail with a deafening screech of crumpled steel.

Elena caught a glimpse of the wreckage in the side mirror as she sped past. Her chest heaved. "Did you... did you kill them?"

"They'll have severe concussions and a very long conversation with local paramedics," Thomas said flatly. "Which is more mercy than they would have shown us."

He turned his head, looking back at Sophie, who had curled into a ball on the floor mats behind them per his immediate command. He reached his long arm back, resting his palm gently on her small shoulder.

"You okay, kiddo?" he asked, his voice softening in a way Elena hadn't heard in a decade.

Sophie peeked up through her lashes, nodding slowly. "You drive fast like a race car driver."

A faint, bitter smile touched Thomas’s lips. "I learned from the best."

Twenty minutes later, the towering, glass-and-steel monolith of Blackwood Tower loomed against the graying evening sky. The iconic corporate logo gleamed in gold letters across the top floor. But as Elena steered the battered green Ferrari toward the private subterranean ramp, Thomas knew the real danger wasn't behind them anymore.

It was waiting for them on the 70th floor.
