Chapter 8 - The Ultimate LeverageCinematic Prompt & Visual GuidanceVideo Prompt (15-sec cinematic realistic): Close-up of Thomas pulling a heavy platinum flash drive from his pocket and slamming it onto the polished mahogany table. The drive clatters against the crystal glasses. Arthur’s face shifting from arrogance to genuine shock. Dramatic low-angle framing, neon city lights bleeding through the glass behind them.

"You wouldn't," Arthur sneered, though a flicker of doubt crossed his wrinkled face. "Destroying the company means destroying your own net worth. You'd be back on the streets where you started."

"You underestimate what it’s like to have nothing, Arthur," Thomas said quietly. "I spent the first twenty years of my life with nothing. I only fought for your billions because I thought power was the only shield against pain."

Thomas reached into his jacket pocket, pulling out a heavy, platinum-encased encrypted flash drive. With a sharp, decisive motion, he slammed it onto the center of the mahogany table.

It slid across the polished wood, stopping right beside Arthur’s crystal glass of scotch.

"What is this?" Arthur demanded, staring at the drive.

"That," Thomas said, "is a dead-man’s switch. Every transaction, every illegal bribe, every offshore tax evasion scheme, and every wet-work contract authorized by this board over the past fifteen years has been mirrored onto secure decentralized servers across three continents."

Arthur’s hand hovered over the flash drive, his fingers trembling slightly. "If you release that..."

"The DOJ gets it in exactly five minutes if my biometric heartbeat monitor stops transmitting," Thomas lied smoothly, though his bluff was absolute and terrifyingly convincing. "Every single one of us—starting with you, Arthur—will spend the rest of our natural lives in a maximum-security federal penitentiary."

The other two board members stood up instantly, their faces pale with panic.

"Arthur, what is he talking about? Did you authorize—"

"Shut up!" Arthur snapped at his colleagues, his eyes locked onto Thomas with pure, unadulterated hatred. "You're bluffing, Thomas. You love this company more than your own life."

"I used to," Thomas said, stepping back toward Elena and sweeping Sophie up into his arms. The little girl rested her head against his shoulder, her small breath warm against his blood-stained collar. "Then I remembered what it felt like to have something worth protecting."

Thomas turned his back on the board of directors, walking toward the private elevator.

"If any one of you follows us," Thomas said without looking back, "the servers unlock at midnight. Enjoy your evening."
