Chapter 3 - THE ARRIVALThe heavy thud of combat boots echoed from the front porch. The door didn't just open; it was removed from its hinges. Viktor, my second-in-command, stepped into the dining room, followed by four men in tailored suits—men who looked like accountants but moved like predators.

"The police are ten minutes out, Boss," Viktor said, bowing slightly toward me. "And the international prosecutors have been notified of your 'investment fraud' schemes."
Martha collapsed into her chair. "You're a criminal," she sobbed.
"I am a king," I corrected. "And you are nothing but a footnote in a story about to be erased."
