Chapter 10 - THE HEALING KINGDOMThree years later.

The rebuilding of DeLuca Manor was complete.

The estate was grander, warmer, and filled with brilliant sunlight, surrounded by thirty acres of blooming white rose gardens overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany.

On a warm summer afternoon, nine-year-old Lucas was running across the lush green lawn, kicking a soccer ball toward a small net. Playing right beside him was six-year-old Emma, laughing as she chased after her big brother.

On the wide stone terrace, Sophia sat on a plush cream sofa wearing a beautiful white linen dress.

Sitting right beside her was Lorenzo, holding a chubby, smiling one-year-old baby girl with soft dark curls and sharp hazel eyes—Isabella Sophia DeLuca.

"She has your eyes, Lorenzo," Sophia smiled softly, leaning her head against his broad shoulder.

Lorenzo looked down at his infant daughter, then wrapped his free arm around Sophia’s waist, pulling his wife close against his side.

"She has her mother's heart," Lorenzo murmured, pressing a soft, lingering kiss onto Sophia’s forehead.

He looked out over the lawn at Lucas and Emma playing in the sunlight.

The dark days of poison, mafia wars, and grief were gone forever. The DeLuca family was no longer a dynasty built on shadows and violence—it was an empire built on truth, protection, and unconditional love.

Lorenzo looked down into Sophia’s dark, loving eyes, his lips curving into a deep, content smile.

"Do you remember the night Emma pulled that packet out of the pillow?" Lorenzo whispered softly.

Sophia smiled warmly, resting her hand over his. "I thought my life was over that night."

Lorenzo leaned down, brushing his lips against hers in a slow, deep, eternal kiss.

"That night," Lorenzo growled gently against her mouth, "was the night my life finally began."
