Chapter 6 - The Emergency Board MeetingAt nine sharp, I stepped into the executive boardroom on the top floor of the Bellamy Tower in downtown Miami.

The heavy mahogany doors swung open automatically. Around the vast glass table sat the twelve directors of Bellamy Holdings—some of the most powerful financial titans in the country. Every single one of them rose to their feet the moment I entered the room.

There were no whispers. No questioning glances. No condescending remarks about my age, my gender, or my marital status.

They knew the truth. They had always known the truth. But today, the crown rested openly where it belonged.

"Please, be seated," I said, walking to the head of the table.

I took my seat in the high-backed leather chair, resting my hands calmly on the polished glass surface.

"Good morning, everyone," I began, my voice commanding absolute, unyielding silence across the room. "Let us begin with the acquisition of Holloway Meridian's remaining infrastructure."

Chief Legal Counsel opened his digital tablet, projecting the restructuring plan onto the main wall screen.

"As of eight-thirty this morning," counsel announced, "all financial lifelines to Holloway Meridian have been officially severed. The corporate liquidation is underway. The primary real estate holdings, including their downtown headquarters, will be rebranded under the Bellamy subsidiary umbrella by the end of the week."

A senior board member, a veteran investor who had served under my grandfather, looked up with a respectful nod.

"And the fallout from the media, Madam Chairwoman? Wall Street is speculating on how this massive liquidity shift will affect our quarterly projections."

I leaned forward, resting my chin on my interlocked fingers, letting a confident, razor-sharp smile touch my lips.

"Wall Street has spent the last seven years betting on a man who couldn't balance a checkbook without my emergency reserves," I said clearly. "Starting today, they are going to learn what happens when Bellamy Holdings actually steps into the light."

A ripple of low, approving murmurs echoed around the table. The boardroom erupted into focused, high-level strategic discussion—not about scandal or betrayal, but about expansion, innovation, and absolute market dominance.
