Chapter 8 - THE PROPOSAL ON THE CLIFFClaire walked out onto the high cliff overlooking the sea, holding the letter in her hand.

Harrison was standing near the stone edge, watching the waves. When he heard her footsteps, he turned around, noticing the tears on her cheeks.
"Claire? What's wrong?" Harrison asked, rushing over to her in concern.
Claire handed him his late wife’s letter.
Harrison read the delicate handwriting. His eyes widened in shock, tears welling up in his eyes as he realized his late wife’s final, beautiful gift to them.
"She knew..." Harrison whispered, his voice trembling. "Sarah knew you were the one before I even met you."
Harrison dropped to one knee on the grass at the edge of the cliff.
He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a simple, breathtaking ring—a sparkling oval diamond set in warm yellow gold.
"Claire Donovan," Harrison said, looking up into her eyes with every ounce of love in his soul. "You didn't just save my daughter. You saved me. Will you marry me, and make our family whole forever?"
Claire sobbed happily, dropping to her knees right beside him, throwing her arms around his neck.

Grace ran out onto the grass, cheering brightly as she jumped into their arms, wrapping her small arms around both of them as the morning sun broke over the ocean.
