Chapter 2 - THE BLOODLINE CONSPIRACY

Viral Hook: A hidden DNA test, a dead brother's ghost, and the dark secret buried beneath the billionaire's own company!Deep beneath the mansion, in a heavily fortified room originally built by Daniel's paranoid father during the Cold War, Lydia sat wrapped in a wool blanket, sipping hot tea. Annie had finally fallen asleep on a cot in the corner, still holding the coat like a shield.

"Julian didn't die by accident, did he?" Daniel asked, standing over the heavy oak desk.

Lydia looked up, tears tracing lines through the soot and sweat on her face. "Julian discovered that Whitmore Global's electronics division was being used as a front for international arms smuggling and human trafficking. The board of directors—led by your uncle, Arthur Whitmore—found out. They didn't just kill Julian, Mr. Whitmore. They tried to wipe out everyone he loved."

She reached inside the lining of the oversized coat—the coat Annie had risked her life to protect through the blizzard—and ripped open a hidden seam. From it, she pulled a encrypted flash drive and a crinkled piece of paper.

"This is why Annie wouldn't let go of the coat," Lydia whispered, her voice trembling. "It wasn't just my coat. It was Julian’s last gift to me. The night of the yacht explosion, he forced me into a lifeboat and gave me this. Inside this drive are the offshore bank accounts, the names of the corrupt politicians, and the DNA profile proving Annie is Julian’s daughter. She is the legal heir to half of Whitmore Global."

Daniel took the paper. It was a paternity test, signed and stamped by a private clinic that had mysteriously burned down five years ago. He stared at the numbers. There was no doubt. Annie was his niece. The blood of his brother ran through her veins.

"Arthur thinks he can control the company through me," Daniel murmured, his jaw clenching so hard it ached. "If he finds out Julian left a child, he won't just stop at corporate sabotage. He will eliminate her to keep his stranglehold on the family fortune."

Suddenly, the red emergency lights in the bunker began to flash. The main monitors flickered violently, replaced by a looping video feed of the estate's perimeter fences.

Harold burst through the heavy steel door, his hand resting firmly on his holstered firearm. "Sir, we have a breach. Three unidentified tactical vehicles just rammed through the outer western wall. They aren't local police, and they aren't common thieves. They have military-grade jammer equipment. Our comms are completely dead."
