Chapter 5 - THE UNLIKELY PROTECTORDiana went to the only person she knew who could fight a man like Arthur: Mark Hale. She met him at a secluded garage where he kept his bikes.
"He’s going to take them," Diana sobbed.
Mark’s jaw tightened. "Over my dead body. He’s an ambulance-chaser, Diana. I’ve dealt with his type in the corporate world for a decade. He’s in deep with the wrong people."
Mark revealed that Arthur’s "consulting firm" was a front for money laundering. If Diana could prove Arthur was a criminal, he’d never be granted custody.
