Chapter 10 - THE PROMISE OF THE FUTUREThey sat on the porch as the sun dipped behind the peaks. Mark didn't have eight billion dollars anymore—he’d given most of it away to establish a foundation for single mothers.

He took Diana’s hand.

"I used to think that being 'rich' meant I could control the world," Mark said. "But the only thing I ever really wanted to control was my own happiness."

Diana looked at the twins playing in the snow, their blue coats replaced by warm, hand-knit wool. She thought back to that five-dollar hot dog on Christmas Eve. It had been the most expensive thing she’d ever bought, because it had led her to the one thing that was truly priceless.

As the fireplace crackled inside, Mark pulled her close. The billionaire biker had finally finished his long, lonely ride, and for the first time in his life, he had arrived exactly where he was supposed to be.
