CHAPTER 2 — There Was a Killer in Business Class

Panic exploded inside the cabin.

Champagne glasses shattered across the floor.

Executives grabbed their phones, only to discover every signal had disappeared.

No internet.

No satellite connection.

No emergency frequency.

Someone had jammed the aircraft.

Ethan looked back at Amelia.

"Who gave you that box?"

Her lips trembled.

"I never saw his face. He wore a black coat and gloves."

She paused.

"But before he disappeared, he said one thing..."

She swallowed hard.

"Trust the woman serving your coffee... not the men protecting your life."

Every eye turned toward Amelia.

The head of Ethan's security team instantly pulled out his pistol.

"This woman is lying!"

Before anyone could react...

The cabin lights went out.

Darkness.

Screams.

A loud crash.

Three terrifying seconds later, the emergency lights flickered back on.

One body lay motionless in the aisle.

It was Ethan's chief financial officer.

A knife protruded from his chest.

No one had seen the killer.

No one had heard footsteps.

Only one thing had changed.

The bloodstained note was gone.

Whoever murdered the CFO had stolen the only evidence.

Then Amelia noticed something everyone else had missed.

The victim's hand was tightly gripping a tiny gold cufflink engraved with a single letter.

E.

Everyone slowly turned toward Ethan.

Even his closest friends stepped away from him.

Someone whispered,

"Maybe... he isn't the victim."

Another voice answered,

"Maybe he's the one this has been about all along."

At that exact moment, the cockpit door slowly opened...

And the pilot walked out with blood on his uniform.

He looked directly at Ethan.

Then smiled.

May you like

"I finally found you."

END OF CHAPTER 2... The biggest secret is still waiting to be uncovered.
