Ethan stood frozen in the middle of the ballroom.
The same guests who had admired him minutes ago were now recording his downfall.
His perfect smile was gone.
His expensive tuxedo suddenly looked like a costume.
Then Vanessa appeared at the door.
But she wasn't crying.
She wasn't afraid.
She was standing beside Amelia.
Ethan whispered, "Vanessa… what did you do?"
Vanessa looked at him with cold eyes.
"What you taught me to do."
"Survive."
The room went silent.
Vanessa stepped forward and revealed the final secret.
Ethan had never loved Amelia.
But Vanessa had never loved Ethan either.
She had been hired by Amelia two years earlier.
Every secret meeting.
Every stolen document.
Every late-night confession.
Every plan Ethan whispered in bed...
Vanessa had recorded all of it.
Ethan's face twisted in horror.
"You set me up?"
Amelia calmly answered for her.
"No, Ethan."
"You set yourself up."
Then one of the attorneys opened a folder.
Inside were bank transfers, fake contracts, forged signatures, offshore accounts, and messages proving Ethan planned to steal millions after the wedding.
But the most shocking evidence wasn't financial.
It was a video.
The ballroom screens suddenly turned on.
Everyone watched Ethan speaking to Vanessa in a private hotel room.
"After the wedding, Amelia will be useless."
"Once I control her shares, I'll make sure she disappears quietly."
A wave of horror moved through the guests.
Amelia's mother covered her mouth.
Richard Brooks clenched his fists.
Ethan tried to run toward the screen, but security stopped him.
