Chapter 11 - Endgame at the DocksThe decrypted files unlocked a Pandora's box of international corruption: illegal arms trafficking investments, multi-million-dollar tax evasions, and wire transfers directly linking Richard Sterling to the tampering of Daniel Whitmore’s private aircraft six years ago.

It wasn't just corporate embezzlement anymore. It was an airtight case for premeditated mass murder.
Rather than waiting for federal warrants to wind their way through bureaucratic channels, Evelyn and Chief Vance devised a bold, high-stakes trap. Using Evelyn’s compromised corporate email account, they sent an anonymous message to Richard Sterling’s private terminal:
‘If you want the Zurich ledgers before the FBI seizes them, meet me at Pier 14 at midnight. Come alone.’
By 11:45 PM, the abandoned shipping container yards at the Greenwich Harbor were shrouded in a thick, eerie marine fog. Federal tactical units and state troopers had the entire perimeter locked down, positioned quietly behind stacked steel containers and shadowed cranes.
Evelyn stood alone at the edge of Pier 14, the cold ocean breeze snapping her coat against her legs.
Footsteps crunched heavily on the gravel behind her. Richard Sterling emerged from the shadows, wearing a dark trench coat, a suppressed automatic pistol held low and steady in his right hand.
"I have to hand it to you, housekeeper," Richard sneered, stepping into the dim amber glow of a distant overhead yard light. "You have more lives than a cat. But your luck runs out tonight. Hand over the drive, and maybe I’ll make it quick."
Evelyn didn't move. She stared at him with unblinking composure. "You killed Daniel, and you tried to burn Noah alive because you were terrified they would expose your empire built on blood and lies."
"And now you're going to join them in the obituary columns," Richard whispered, raising the barrel of the pistol directly toward her chest.
"I wouldn't do that, Mr. Sterling," a deep voice boomed through the surrounding darkness.
Suddenly, dozens of high-intensity tactical floodlights snapped on simultaneously, bathing Pier 14 in blinding white light. Automated laser sights from over twenty federal sniper rifles locked squarely onto Richard’s chest from atop the crane towers and shipping containers.

"Federal Bureau of Investigation! Drop your weapon!" Chief Vance shouted, stepping out from behind an armored tactical vehicle.
Realizing he had walked straight into a federal execution of an arrest warrant, Richard’s face drained of color. He cursed violently, tossing the pistol onto the concrete and raising his hands as federal marshals swarmed in from all directions, tackling him to the ground and slapping heavy steel cuffs onto his wrists.
