Chapter 4 - The Digital Siege

"What do you want?" Victor demanded, his voice cracking slightly beneath the polished facade of the untouchable crime lord. He tried to straighten his tie, but his fingers were shaking. "Money? A cut of the shipping ports? Name your price. Everything has a price tag."
"You think this is about money?" I asked, walking over to the gym's main security desk where Dustin's laptop sat open.
I gestured to Sergeant Miller. "Miller, hook up the bypass drive."
"On it, Gunny," Miller replied, pulling a specialized tactical data-sucker from his vest and plugging it directly into the USB port of Dustin's computer.
Within seconds, the massive flat-screen television mounted on the gym wall—usually reserved for reviewing MMA fight footage—flickered to life. Lines of green code cascaded down the screen before opening up into a centralized financial dashboard, encrypted database folders, and high-definition video files.
Victor's eyes bulged. "How... how did you get our server bypass codes?"
"You think a guy like you runs an empire without leaving a digital footprint?" I replied calmly. "My youngest son is a cyber-warfare specialist at Cyber Command. While you were paying off local cops, he was mapping your entire offshore network, your dummy corporations, your money laundering accounts in the Caymans, and every single text message your nephew sent threatening my daughter."
The screen suddenly shifted. High-definition security footage began playing on a loop—videos taken from hidden cameras outside Marcy's college dorm, showing Dustin shoving her against a brick wall, slapping her across the face, and whispering threats while pointing at his phone.
Dustin went sheet-white from his spot on the canvas. "Where... where did you get those?"
"Everywhere, you little coward," I said, my voice dripping with cold disdain. "You thought you were untouchable because your uncle owned the streets. But you forgot one fundamental rule of modern conflict: intelligence precedes kinetic action."
Miller tapped a key on his tactical terminal. "Download complete, Gunny. Securely mirrored to military intelligence servers, the FBI's internal anti-corruption task force, and three major investigative news outlets with a delayed dead-man's switch set for twenty minutes."
Victor lunged forward, his face twisted in pure rage and panic. "You son of a bitch! You've ruined years of work! Do you have any idea who you're dealing with? The people I work with aren't just local thugs—they're international syndicates! They will hunt you, your wife, your daughter, and everyone you've ever known to the ends of the earth!"

I didn't flinch. I didn't raise my voice. I simply stepped into his path, looking down into his panicked eyes with absolute serenity.
"Let them try," I whispered. "Because unlike you, Victor... my family knows how to fight back."
