CHAPTER 2 — The Prison Queen Finally Meets Someone Stronger

Nobody breathed.

Vanessa stared at her own swollen wrist in disbelief.

She had fought inside prisons for nearly ten years.

She had beaten trained fighters.

Broken noses.

Broken ribs.

Broken spirits.

No one had ever dropped her in a single movement.

Especially not someone half her size.

The guards rushed toward the circle.

"What happened?"

Nobody answered.

Because nobody had actually seen it.

Only one loud crack.

Then Vanessa was on the ground.

One officer reached for Kate.

"Against the wall!"

Kate calmly raised both hands.

"No problem."

There wasn't the slightest panic in her face.

Security cameras were immediately reviewed.

Minutes later...

The prison warden walked into the control room.

He replayed the footage.

Once.

Twice.

Five times.

Each replay shocked him even more.

Frame by frame...

Kate hadn't attacked.

Vanessa had grabbed her first.

Kate simply redirected the force, twisted the wrist with impossible precision, and stepped aside.

The entire exchange lasted less than one second.

Professional.

Controlled.

No wasted movement.

The warden frowned.

"Who exactly is this woman?"

An officer opened Kate's intake file.

His face slowly changed color.

"Sir..."

He swallowed.

"You need to see this."

The folder wasn't thick.

But every page carried government seals.

Military.

Federal.

Restricted.

One red stamp covered the final page.

CONFIDENTIAL.

The warden immediately picked up the phone.

"I want confirmation."

Several minutes passed.

No one spoke.

Finally...

The phone rang back.

The voice on the other end said only one sentence.

"Treat inmate Kate with respect.

Do not interfere unless absolutely necessary."

The warden slowly lowered the receiver.

Even he looked unsettled.

Back in the yard...

Vanessa's pride hurt more than her wrist.

She stood again despite the pain.

"You embarrassed me."

Kate looked directly into her eyes.

"No.

Your own choices did."

Vanessa lunged.

This time with everything she had.

A roar echoed across the yard.

Women climbed onto benches to watch.

The guards prepared pepper spray.

But before Vanessa's fist could land...

Kate moved again.

One step.

One pivot.

One shoulder lock.

The giant woman crashed face-first onto the concrete.

The yard erupted.

For the first time in years...

The prison queen had been defeated in front of everyone.

But the greatest surprise was still waiting inside the warden's office.

May you like

Because Kate wasn't just another inmate.

She had entered this prison for a reason.
