Elena Voss sat at her desk, holding a classic fountain pen filled with black ink. Before her lay the final, pristine page of the master ledger—the ledger that had recorded every acquisition, every restructuring, and every balance sheet since the founding of the company.

She didn't write a new corporate directive. She didn't plot a hostile takeover or analyze a market trend. Instead, she wrote a single sentence, simple and absolute, sealing the book closed with a soft, satisfying click of the brass clasp.

Elena smiled, turned away from the glass, and walked out into the quiet, peaceful night.
