Chapter 9 - The Gangnam Estate UnveiledThat evening, the storm had completely cleared, leaving the night sky over Seoul brilliantly clear and glittering with stars.

Inside the massive, two-hundred-and-forty-million-dollar Gangnam estate, the crystal chandeliers cast a warm, breathtaking glow across the grand marble foyer.

I stood by the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of my private penthouse study, looking out over the magnificent skyline of the city that was now entirely beneath my feet.

Attorney Park walked into the study, holding a final dossier and offering a deep, respectful bow.

“The asset seizure is complete, Madam Chairwoman,” Park reported quietly. “Min-jae’s company has been liquidated, his mother has been successfully evicted from the suburban villa, and Ms. Ji-won has reportedly fled the city after her luxury accounts were locked.”

I turned around, holding a glass of sparkling water, my expression serene and untouchable.

“And Min-jae?” I asked.

“Currently being held at the Gangnam precinct pending trial for corporate fraud and falsifying asset documents,” Park replied. “His lawyers tried to appeal, but when they realized who owned the judiciary trusts... they dropped his case immediately.”

I nodded slowly, taking a small sip of water.

“Let him sit in a cell for a while,” I whispered. “Let him experience what it truly feels like to have nothing.”
