Chapter 3 - The Wax-Sealed BetrayalHarrison snatched the envelope from the child's small, trembling hand. The wax seal—bearing the original family coat of arms from 18th-century Liverpool—cracked with a dry snap under his thumb.

Inside lay three items: a handwritten letter on thick linen paper, a flash drive labeled The Truth, and a certified legal document bearing a judge's signature from the Eastern District Court.
"Don't read it, Harrison," Eleanor hissed, stepping forward with an urgency he had never seen in her before. For the first time, panic flickered in her pale blue eyes. "It's a fabrication. A weapon crafted by a dying woman who wanted to tear down everything your father and I built."
Harrison ignored her. He unfolded the letter and began to read aloud under the chandelier's cold light:
Harrison,
If you are reading this, my heart has finally stopped fighting. For six years, I lived in hiding not because I was afraid of you, but because your mother made it clear that if I ever revealed Olivia to the world, both of our lives would end in an 'accident.'
The sterility diagnosis you received ten years ago wasn't a biological defect, my love. It was induced. A slow-release chemical regimen administered through your private estate vitamins by your mother's personal physician, Dr. Alistair Vance, designed to ensure you never married, never reproduced, and left the entire Bennett empire entirely under her thumb.
Olivia is yours. She is your blood. And she is the sole legal heir to fifty-one percent of Bennett Global Industries, signed over by your grandfather before he died under suspicious circumstances in 2018.
Harrison’s vision blurred. The room tilted. He looked from the letter to his mother, whose face had gone chalk-white.

"Lies," Eleanor whispered, her knuckles turning grey as she gripped her cane. "All of it. She manipulated you!"
"Open the safe, Mother," Harrison whispered, his voice dropping an octave into a tone so terrifyingly calm that even Eleanor stepped back. "Open the wall safe in your study right now, or I swear to God I will have the state police tear this entire estate down to the foundation."
