Chapter 5 - The Corporate ExecutionThe emergency board meeting of Bennett Global Industries was convened at 6:00 AM in the glass-walled penthouse boardroom overlooking a grey Manhattan skyline.

Twenty-four directors sat in stunned silence as Harrison walked in. He wasn't wearing his usual immaculate bespoke suit; he wore a simple black shirt with the sleeves rolled up, his knuckles bruised from where he had slammed them into the safe wall hours earlier.
Sitting in the chairman’s seat was Marcus Vance, the chief legal counsel and brother of the detective investigating Rebecca’s death.
"Harrison," Marcus said smoothly, adjusting his tie. "This unscheduled emergency meeting is entirely out of protocol. Under section 9 of the corporate charter, your mother retains voting proxy while her health is under review—"
"My mother was arrested twenty minutes ago for corporate conspiracy, poisoning, and financial fraud," Harrison interrupted, tossing a thick dossier onto the polished mahogany table. "And you, Marcus, are named as her co-conspirator in the offshore laundering of funds used to harass and silence Rebecca Miller."
Marcus’s face drained of color. He stood up abruptly. "You have no proof—"
"I have the flash drive," Harrison said, resting his hand on the back of a small, folding chair he had brought into the room.
The heavy oak doors opened again. Olivia walked in, holding the hand of federal prosecutor Sarah Chen. The little girl carried her small backpack with the purple star, looking around the towering skyscraper room with absolute calm.
"Good morning, gentlemen," Prosecutor Chen said, placing a federal injunction warrant directly over Marcus’s portfolio. "Effective immediately, the Bennett Family Trust is dissolved. Control of fifty-one percent voting shares reverts to the legal heir."
Chen turned and looked down at Olivia.

"Miss Olivia Miller-Bennett."
A collective gasp swept through the boardroom. Several senior directors stood up in protest, but Chen’s armed federal marshals stepped out from the shadows near the floor-to-ceiling windows, blocking every exit.
