Chapter 8 - The Empire FallsAcross the globe—in Swiss banking vaults, Cayman Island shell companies, London real estate holdings, and Wall Street trading floors—digital alarms began to wring.

Victor Sterling’s multi-billion-dollar criminal empire didn't just collapse; it evaporated in a fraction of a second. Every asset, every offshore account, every hidden corporation was legally, permanently stripped away from him and redirected into an untouchable global trust managed by Julian and me.
Inside the bunker, the holographic monitors flashed a bright red alert: ASSET LIQUIDATION COMPLETE. TARGET ARREST WARRANTS ISSUED INTERPOL-WIDE.
The advancing commandos froze in their tracks. Their tactical helmets crackled with frantic, panicked radio chatter from their commanders. Their communications had just been locked, their bank accounts frozen, and their identities broadcast to every law enforcement agency on the planet.
"Fall back! Fall back!" one of the mercenaries screamed over the radio, before turning and dragging his wounded comrades back up the stairwell in a mad panic.
Within minutes, the bunker was dead silent, save for the hum of the servers and our ragged breathing.
I collapsed against the console, sliding down to the floor, gasping for air. Julian was clutching his wounded shoulder, but a massive, exhausted laugh escaped his lips.

"We did it," Julian breathed, looking at Noah and Eli, who rushed over to hug him. "We actually did it."
"Not yet," I muttered, pulling my satphone—which had a secondary offline satellite relay—from my tactical vest. "Victor is still sitting in his penthouse in Zurich. And I think it's time for a family reunion."
